Nearly twenty years of sharing flavour, family and tradition
In May 2006, 4 Stagioni – Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria opened its doors in Gibraltar with one goal: to bring the warmth and authenticity of Italian home cooking to the Rock. What started as a family dream quickly became a local favourite, known for its quality, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality.
With more than 19 years of history, 4 Stagioni continues to celebrate authentic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, using fresh, high-quality ingredients and recipes passed down through generations. Every dish, from our handmade pasta to our wood-fired pizzas, tells a story of love for good food and tradition.
Sardinian inspiration – roots that give flavour
Our origins trace back to Sardinia, the homeland of Chef Paolo Olmetto, who grew up surrounded by the scents of homemade bread, slow-cooked sauces, and freshly rolled ravioli.
That Sardinian heritage lives on in our menu: fresh filled pasta, hearty ragù, wood-fired pizzas made with artisanal dough, and weekly specials that follow the rhythm of the seasons. Each dish reflects the Mediterranean philosophy of cooking with simplicity, heart, and authenticity.
A restaurant with history – Jumper’s Bastion, Rosia Road
4 Stagioni is located in one of Gibraltar’s most historic sites: Jumper’s Bastion, on Rosia Road, a defensive wall built by the British in the 18th century as part of the Rock’s fortified system.

Just steps away lies Rosia Bay, famous for welcoming Admiral Nelson’s HMS Victory after the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. This area still preserves the character of the old fortifications, now transformed into a peaceful and picturesque setting full of charm.
From our terrace, guests can enjoy views of the Royal Navy Dockyard and the bay, while relaxing in a calm and friendly atmosphere away from the city’s bustle — the perfect place to enjoy authentic Italian food with a touch of Gibraltar’s history.
Family, flavour and authenticity
Throughout the years, 4 Stagioni has remained true to its values: family spirit, artisanal cuisine, and genuine hospitality. Our philosophy is simple — to cook with passion, to honour tradition, and to welcome every guest as part of our extended family.
At 4 Stagioni, history, flavour and culture come together to create a timeless experience. Because our restaurant is more than a place to eat — it’s a place where every dish tells a story.
“Every dish at 4 Stagioni tells a story — of family, tradition, and a unique corner of Gibraltar.”
